1993: Damon went crowd surfing leaving Graham to sing onstage 🙂

Damon Albarn is on the Evening Standard’s list of London’s most influential people of 2015 :
“It’s rare for a reunited band to sustain interest beyond their greatest hits gigs. The revival of the Blur name, for their first album as a quartet in 16 years, worked because there was no sense that they were doing it for the money. Albarn and guitarist Graham Coxon had healthy solo careers, bassist Alex James had his cheese empire — they put out The Magic Whip because it was genuinely worth hearing, standing tall beside their best work. Other reforming bands take note.”
